Success Stories


In the case of Juan C. Tenorio (USBK Case No. 2:08-bk-23799-PC), Mr. Gonzalez was successful in the representation of the Chapter 7 trustee in obtaining a judgment voiding and recovering a fraudulent transfer for $176,500. In the same case, Mr. Gonzalez was successful in the revocation of the debtor's discharge of debts under Section 727 of the Bankruptcy Code.
 
In the case of Hurrell, et al. v. Barker, et al. (In re Barker)(USBK Case No. 6:05-bk-23284-PC), the firm was successful at the August 26, 2008 trial in the objection to the debtors' discharge of debts [approximately $4 million] under Section 727 of the Bankruptcy Code.
 
In the case of In re Saldana (USBK Case No. 2:08-bk-10074-SB), the firm was successful in a reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code wherein all allowed claims were satisfied (for an automobile leasing business).
 
In the M. Farrell dba Fleurever-Yours dba FYI Events.Com-FYI case (USBK Case No. 2:04--bk-33861-AA), the firm was successful in the dismissal of several adversary proceedings objecting to the discharge and dischargeability of debts [of about $500,000] under Sections 523 and 727 of the Bankruptcy Code.
 
In the Ocampo case (USBK Case No. 1:08--bk-17922-MT), the firm was successful in the dismissal of various adversary proceedings objecting to the discharge and dischargeability of debts [of about $1 million] under Sections 523 and 727 of the Bankruptcy Code.
 
In the case of KDTD, Inc. and S. Bendon v. Savin Enterprises, Inc., et al. (In re Artistic Plastering, Inc.)(USBK Case No. 6:06-bk-13805-MJ), the firm was successful at the September 14, 2010 trial in obtaining a dismissal of all of the causes of action (for fraud, establish alter ego and seeking to avoid and recover fraudulent transfers in excess of $2 million) for the benefit of the defendants.
 
Represented the Chapter 7 trustee in his objection to the debtor’s discharge and in the recovery of fraudulent transfers resulting in the recovery of $250,000. In re Pei Ping Chu.
 
Successfully represented the owner of the largest residential property in the City of Downey with respect to a dispute over an easement in a three-week trial. L. Enriquez, et al. v. Van De Velde, et al.
 
In the case of V&L Produce, Inc. v. Rey & Rey Produce, Inc. (LASC Case No. BC389881), Mr. Gonzalez was successful in obtaining a judgment on August 31, 2008, for $175,000 for violation of P.A.C.A. and breach of contract.
 
In the case of Promate Produce U.S.A., Inc. v. Rey & Rey Produce, Inc. (USDC Case No. CV 08-6229-GHK), Mr. Gonzalez was successful in obtaining a judgment on May 11, 2009, for $85,000 for violation of P.A.C.A. and breach of contract.
